As the newest hotel on our list, the Wall Centre is a highly recommended option for those looking for an ultra-modern and luxurious place of accommodation.
Each room in this stylish Vancouver airport hotel contains a 42” inch flat screen TV, deep-soaker tub and stand-up shower. But perhaps most importantly, they receive fantastic reviews for overall cleanliness and comfort.
I recommend taking advantage of the fully-stocked fitness centre which has floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the Fraser River and, you guessed it, the YVR flight path!
The highly reviewed restaurant and lounge offer inventive cuisine and cocktails throughout the day. However, if you’d prefer to venture out, Bridgeport Station and the River Rock Casino are situated about a kilometre away.

The Days Inn is one of three Vancouver airport hotels operated by renown international chain Wyndham Hotels and Resorts.
Though cheap hotels in Vancouver near the airport are hard to come by, if you’re looking for the lower end of the price scale I’d start here.
While not quite as cheap as the Travelodge, the Days Inn is closer to YVR and located a 5 minute walk from Bridgeport Station, the River Rock Casino and the Richmond Night Market (May-Oct).
And furthermore, you’ll receive a king-size bed, continental breakfast and free airport shuttle for all your troubles.

Sandman Signature Vancouver – Best Vancouver Airport Hotel Bar
4 Stars | 10251 St. Edwards Drive | Area: East Cambie
Despite being one of the more distant locations from YVR, the Sandman’s free airport shuttle will serve to mitigate this problem.
Otherwise the hotel is one of the more amenity rich properties on our list, with a variety of dining options that include; the Chop Steakhouse, Denny’s and the Shark Club sports bar.
The Sandman gets high marks for it’s indoor and outdoor swimming pools, jacuzzi, tennis court and fitness centre. And if you’d prefer something a little more extensive, the neighbouring Steve Nash Fitness Club is accessible for a small fee.
Furthermore, the hotel has recently undergone renovation in 2019, so you can rest easy knowing that the facilities should be up to snuff.

Vancouver Airport Hotels near YVR Map
Lets get oriented. Vancouver International Airport is located on Sea Island, in the suburb of Richmond, BC about 15 kilometres from downtown Vancouver.
As a consequence, most of the true airport hotels in the region can be found within this municipality.
As mentioned, there is one YVR airport hotel in the South Vancouver neighbourhood of Marpole. And if you’re feeling extremely anxious about your flight, there is a hotel within YVR itself.
All of the other hotels on our list offer free airport shuttle service (with one exception). This ensures that you’ll be much less likely to miss that early morning flight!
And just a quick reminder, YVR is located just 25 minutes from downtown via the Canada Line.
