Is a Visit to Victoria Inner Harbour Worth It? My Experience

Absolutely. I’ve been to Victoria multiple times, and the Inner Harbour always feels special.

One thing that stands out? The energy.

Even though Victoria is known for being quiet, the Inner Harbour is full of life. Street musicians, food stalls, and boats coming and going make it feel like a little European waterfront town.

The biggest surprise for me was Fisherman’s Wharf. I expected a touristy food spot, but the floating village of colourful houseboats was completely unique.

Grabbing local sockeye salmon tacos by the water at the Fish Store was a highlight – I even got to watch a few seals pop up during the meal.

The only thing to avoid is expecting it to be warm year-round. Victoria’s milder than Vancouver, but it can still get chilly by the water.
