You can also start from Coal Harbour, then follow the scenic Seawall past the Vancouver Stanley Park Train and loop around toward the beach. That route’s my personal favourite—it turns your commute into part of the experience.

Renting a bike is another great choice. The Seawall makes the ride feel like part of the fun, especially if the weather’s good.

And if you’re loaded with beach gear or short on time, ride-hailing works just fine. Honestly, English Bay is one of those spots where getting there feels as good as being there.

Is a Visit to Vancouver English Bay Worth It? My Experience

Totally.

The first time I visited, I ended up staying until well after sunset. There’s something magnetic about this place. The combination of ocean air, city skyline, and laid-back crowd just works.
