The Best Hotels in Whistler: Top Whistler Village Hotels for Skiers, Families, and Groups

Four Seasons Resort Whistler – Best Hotel in Whistler Overall
☆☆☆☆☆ | 4591 Blackcomb Way | Area: Upper Village | Distance from ski lift: 500 metres
Sorry to use the term, but the Four Seasons Resort is the creme de la creme of Whistler luxury hotels.
And while it’s the only 5-star hotel in town that doesn’t offer ski-in/ski-out access, it won’t be missed. This Whistler hotel is the most highly reviewed property on the major booking sites – but there’s even more.
This opulent resort was recently named North America’s top resort at the world travel awards. So you’re virtually guaranteed the absolute peak level of service and amenities.
Located in the Upper Village, the resort is an 8-minute walk from the base of the Whistler-Blackcomb ski gondolas. However, a free village shuttle is offered to remedy this issue.
The well-anointed rooms are simply immaculate, with huge bathrooms, double walk-in closets and the comfiest beds you’ll ever sleep on. The spa, fitness centre and pool also receive high reviews, with some even expressing a preference to the famed Scandinave Spa that is located nearby.

Fairmont Chateau Whistler – The Top Whistler Hotel Après Ski Experience
☆☆☆☆☆ | 4599 Chateau Boulevard | Area: Upper Village | Distance from ski lift: 100 metres
Located next to the Four Seasons, this ultra-luxurious Upper Village hotel offers all of the comfort, convenience and amenities one would expect from the Fairmont brand.
Unlike its neighbour, the Fairmont offers ski-in/ski-out access right at the base of Blackcomb Mountain. So you can take advantage of the on-site ski rentals, lessons and storage for a seamless transition from the slopes to the ideal après skiing experience at one of 6 on-site bars and restaurants.
Get pampered in the Vida Spa before grabbing a glass of champagne from the pool bar. Then relax your aching bones in one of the three hot tubs, the steam room or the sauna. This is what vacations are for.
If you’re feeling a little more active, you can take advantage of their fully stocked fitness centre, tennis courts or even the Fairmont Chateau Golf Club for those visiting in the summer.

☆☆☆ | 4333 Sunrise Alley | Area: Whistler Village | Distance from ski lift: 200 metres
The brand-new Pangea Pod Hotel is modelled on the unique capsule-style hotels found throughout Japan.
Here, each customer receives a bed situated in their own “pod” that is located within a larger dorm room, each of which contains their own shared bathroom.
So in essence, you get to stay in a modern boutique hotel but only pay for the part you actually use. This is one of the best hotel deals in Whistler with single pods starting at $124.00
Having stayed in capsule hotels in Japan I can assure you that they’re vastly superior to hostels in terms of space, comfort and cleanliness – and this chic pod hotel is no different.
To make things even better, the Pangea is located right in the heart of Whistler Village. So unlike the other value options on our list, you’re just steps away from the gondola.
