The radical transformation of Yaletown from a gritty industrial area into one of the city’s glitziest neighbourhoods is truly something.

It makes sense then that Yaletown hotels be a transformative factor in your Vancouver stay.

While they’re actually quite hard to come by due to the area’s residential bent, here’s our shot at listing the best Yaletown Vancouver hotels.

Yaletown Vancouver Hotels

Opus Vancouver – Best Yaletown Hotel Overall

☆☆☆☆☆ | 322 Davie St. | Distance From Yaletown: 250 metres

Opus Vancouver is undoubtedly one of the best luxury hotels in Vancouver, and it just so happens to be located right in the heart of Yaletown.

In fact, this stylish boutique hotel is the only hotel located within the area’s commercial core. This allows you to take full advantage of its myriad of dining options and nightspots.

The property is also located just 40 metres from the Skytrain (Yaletown-Roundhouse Station). This places Vancouver International Airport and Vancouver’s top attractions right at your fingertips.

The famous Vancouver Seawall is just a 5-minute walk away: you can take full advantage by using the hotel’s e-bike rentals. The False Creek Ferry to Granville Island can also be boarded at nearby David Lam Station.

This effortlessly stylish hotel couples its contemporary design with intuitive service.

As a result, the property has received numerous accolades from publications such as Condé Nast Traveler, the Michelin Guide and Travelers’ Choice.

Level Vancouver Yaletown – Best Extended Stay Yaletown Hotel

☆☆☆☆ | 1022 Seymour St. | Distance From Yaletown: 350 metres

The Level Vancouver Yaletown Hotel is a luxurious hotel located in the heart of the neighbourhood.

It offers stunning views of the city skyline and provides guests with top-notch amenities, including an indoor pool and spa, an exceptional fitness centre, and more.

The property offers hotel rooms and furnished suites that are primarily catered towards business travellers, international students and visitors in town for longer periods – though short terms beds are available.

Just note that the experience may feel more akin to an Airbnb than a typical boutique hotel. So you won’t find things like restaurants and concierges on hand.

Hotel BLU Vancouver – Best Yaletown Hotel For Concerts & Sporting Events

☆☆☆☆ | 177 Robson St. | Distance From Yaletown: 400 metres

Hotel BLU Vancouver is a 4-star hotel located on the fringes of Yaletown in Vancouver’s Stadium District.

This places Yaletown’s top dining and nightlife options at arm’s reach, while also making the property one of Vancouver’s top hotels near Rogers Arena.

Here you’ll find a variety of amenities including complimentary airport shuttle service, an indoor pool, a fitness center, and an onsite restaurant.

Flat-screen TVs, tablets and working spaces are also provided in each room for that little extra touch.

This well-reviewed luxury hotel is a part of the BLU Hotels & Resorts chain that was founded in 2006. As such, you can expect a high level of service and comfort while being right on the doorstep of Yaletown’s main attractions.

Visitors staying in Yaletown are typically looking to take advantage of the area’s much-vaunted dining options and nightlife. However, some are looking to go that extra mile by having a host of entertainment options right on site.

Enter the Douglas Autograph Collection.

This stylish boutique hotel is situated above the newest of Vancouver’s best casino resorts, the PARQ Vancouver.

This 5-star hotel also features a “balanced dialogue between nature and city” via its unique sustainable design. In fact, the hotel stands as a tribute to the towering Douglas Firs that once dominated the local landscape.

It even features a 30,000 square feet rooftop park, which provides guests with a spectacular urban oasis in which to relax at the end of the day. Trust us, this hotel is one of a kind.

Moda Hotel – The Best Budget Yaletown Hotel

☆☆☆1/2 | 900 Seymour St. | Distance from Yaletown: 450 metres

Admittedly, the idea of a Yaletown value hotel differs somewhat from those found elsewhere in the city. So if you’re truly out for one of Vancouver’s best budget hotels you may be better served staying elsewhere.

That being said, the Moda Hotel provides shockingly good value for what it offers. This boutique hotel brings a little European flair to Canada’s Westcoast.

You’ll find three Italian-influenced restaurants and bars on-site, including a Cibo Trattoria, Red Card Sports Bar and Uva Wine Bar.

This influence continues upstairs, where guests can expect stylish, well-appointed rooms with modern decor and all the necessary amenities to make your stay comfortable.

And with its perfect location near Yaletown, Granville Street and the Robson shopping district you’ll find yourself near many of Vancouver’s best attractions.

How to Book The Best Hotels Near Yaletown

Since constructing this Vancouver travel database I’ve had the chance to partner with dozens of different hotel booking providers.

In the end, I decided to go with Priceline for the following reasons:

  • They’re a publicly traded company with a $78 billion market cap for the utmost trust
  • They offer the greatest range of hotels near Yaletown
  • They offer book now pay later rooms which is a big help with budgeting
  • They’ve got a lowest price guarantee to help you save even more money

And last but not least, if you book using the links in the article you’ll be helping me get one step closer to my dream: doing Vancouver Planner for a living.

We’re just two local Vancouverites who want to share our city – we don’t have $100,000 in weekly ad spend like Tripadvisor, so every booking helps 🙂
