Grouse Mountain is one of the top things to do in Vancouver, so this ain’t no commute you’ll be begging to end – you’ll want to soak in the bird’s eye view of the city and mountains.
The Skyride trip takes just 8 minutes to climb the 2100 feet up Grouse Mountain.
Compare this with the two hour hike of the Grouse Grind and this is practically at light speed.
One final thing: as I mentioned in my post on how long to spend at Grouse Mountain, this trip can take a lot longer especially during peak Grouse Mountain summer and Vancouver winter periods.
You’ll want to avoid lining up at the bottom (and the inevitable two gondola wait) by buying your tickets in advance.
